I love how they included different sizes of the image.

These did take longer than I excepted in the water.

Usually water decals are ready with in seconds.

Like 10-15seconds

These how ever did take over a minute.

But.. They did apply amazingly.

I was extremely impressed with how flat and smooth these decals are.

And they are perfect for when you need a fast Mani.

These water decals are super easy to apply and are very durable

when you apply a good topcoat over them.

Graffiti Fun

Tonight I'll be sharing my Graffiti Mani.

I've been down with Sinus issues lately.

I will be doing a Video review on the products that I used for this Mani.

But first I need to get my voice back so you can hear me :)

SURFS UP

 I originally had these with a gloss, but there was far to much glare.

I used 2 coats of  Funky Fingers Black

and only 1 thin coat of Funky Fingers White 

on my middle and ring finger.

I used  "Nail Sticker" aka Water Decals from  Born Pretty Store .

I also added some textured metal studs also from Born Pretty Store

This particular product  can be a bit confusing.

The package says Nail Sticker

and the directions say nothing about water or this being a decal.

I took a rough measurement of my two fingers and cut the necessary amount.

I dropped 1 at a time in the water. (I just used a shallow glass bowl)

after about 5-10 seconds I used tweezers and grabbed it out.

The Image will slid right of the paper with ease.

 (if yours does not, then put it back into the water for a little bit longer)  

This Decal is truly amazing. That white background you see is part of the decal.

I place the decal over over my 1 thin coat of white polish (as a Base) .

Now at this point I was a little worried..

 The image I cut  was a tad longer and wider than my nail.

I really was not sure how to approach this without messing up my Mani or nails.

There was no way I was going in with scissors to trim things up.

So I  used  my clean up brush and Acetone to tackle this one.

And WOW! I was amazed. It cleaned up perfectly.

I even took this review to the next level.

I  even applied Matte Polish right over the decal.

And again I was amazed by the results.

No smudging/smearing or dragging of image.

This Water Decal  took a beating and abuse and nothing could break it.

Have you wanted to use water decals,

but didn't want a White or light color base?

With  most water decals they come with recommendations from the Company

on what color of a base polish you should use so the image is more visible.

Well the search is over.

I received some nail art decals (water decals) from the  Born Pretty Store

a few days ago.And I just couldn't wait to see if I could use a dark base.

Here's what the full sheet looks like.

There is a clear plastic covering over it. You remove this after you cut 

your images and before you place it in water.

 You have enough of each theme to do 2 full sets of Mani's.

That's 22 full Mani's.

And if you use them as accents the total can even triple.

This is a must have for sure. They have so many different nail decals

you can choose from. And yes I clear-coated mine and I had "No"

smearing. I even dragged my brush and still nothing.

Duck Dynasty Mani

I had received some water decals from Chaos-Nail-Design-Decals 

I really wanted to think outside the box with these decals.

Most others are just placing decals over plain solid bases.

And they do look great over plain bases too.

But of course I wanted to test the waters and try something new with them.

With Duck Dynasty decals I really could of done many different types of bases.

But I wanted to try stamping over them.

Now it is recommend to apply the decal over a light base.

With an Olive Green,Grey and Black Camo print over a White base

 I wasn't following the rules already. 

So to insure that these decals would stay true to there appearance I 

used White Acrylic paint and sponged to circles in the area I wanted to place

the decal. By me doing this I new that my background art would not

show through my decals. 

Once it was all dried I applied my top coat.

SURFS UP....

I used Cheeky Jumbo D

MyOnline Shop's Special Olive  Green  and Grey stamping polish

along with my "Trusty" Black from Mash Nails

Oh.. And did you know that Funky Fingers is "3 FREE" ?

I have tried many different brands of white polishes and all

of them having the same ending results.. Streaking and bald spots.Oh and uneven ness.

Funky Fingers give me none of these issues.. So when I spot the White or Black

I grab a bunch. This is also the White I always stamp in.

These Decals do come with an instruction sheet.

It's fairly simple to do.

*Do not remove the clear plastic off the decal*
