Hello Nail Surfers,

How many of you ordered the new Cheeky set?  (Summer Set)

For all those who did order your plates are being dispatched out tomorrow :)

Here's  some additional information on this set.

1.       The plates are 15% bigger.

2.       It comes in a very high quality packaging that wasn’t before.

3.       It comes with the nail art license/scraping card that wasn’t before.

4.       The branding of this set is 10 levels above competition.

5.     The Full nail images are bigger than previous set.

And all the above for extra $3 relatively to the previous set…

Pretty in Pink

Hello Nail Surfers,

How are you all doing? I'm good. (: Just painted away here.. I really need to pace myself out more.

But who we kidding here? That's just not me (:  I have lots to share with you still. Today I'm going to share some Pink nails. Pink is my ultimate favorite color than Black and well, I cant leave out the other colors now. I Like all  the colors. 

When I stamp I like to use images that have been over looked. Its a challenge at times but it's fun. I still do the traditional images too but love to add twists to them. Some turn out and some don't. I post even my fails.And will tell you why I feel it failed and how or what i should of done definitely .  I'll even redo the fail mani just so I feel better. Nobody likes showing the failed attempt. I take it personally and tell myself I could do better, I should of done better, and than I achieve my mani better. Plus  its more practicing. My cuticles and I don't always agree.And you will see that too. I'm not a pro, nor a professional licensed technician  I do housework and yard work too. My nails take a beating too. I use to always bite my nails. Then I'd bite the skin around my nails. I no longer do either but I do have a love-hate relationship going on with my cuticles.

Habits are hard to break and in time my goal is to have nice and pretty cuticles (:

  How are you doing theses days? Are you getting impatient waiting for Cheeky? . I am. L.O.L

If it wasn't for new new squishy stamper alot of the images would not fit me proper. So I am in need of these bigger full nail designs. Today I did a mani thats very girly/tropical/ summery. Now please keep in mind this is just a sample set and the images are not perfected.

 Today I took many pics. This is my sample set of Cheeky's Summer Set. Many of you may have already seen the set, but here's a close up view. Hopefully they will be releasing these soon :)

NiNja Fighting with Ninja Blood!

Hello Nail Surfers,

               Happy Friday..I did this Mani earlier this week. I wish the ninja stars showed up more on camera. I wanted to keep then Silver VS Black only so it looked more real..I wanted my ninja's to be facing each other so I did the stamp transferring technique. My squishy stamper did not want any part of this. It was to sticky and would not fully pick up the image. So I used 2 Konad stampers and it work great. I also wanted these ninja's to shed blood. I thought it would be easier to use acrylic paint watered down VS polish. This also gives a chance to erase if I didn't like it. 

SURFS UP....

I used tape to cover skin around nail and wrapped 2 nails to protect them from splatter.

 I used Funky Fingers White  and Wet`N`Wild Black as a base.

 I have been busy painting like crazy. There are so many great nail plate sets and I've been using them all.

When ideas come to me I gotta do it. I really need to just keep a book of my ideas and use them as I go, but whom I kidding. We all get excited for certain images, designs,plates and plate sets. And that same excitement is how I feel on nail art ideas. I have heard alot of people saying that they soo want the new Cheeky Set, But with the other sets already released and purchased some think their significant other my not feel that same excitement. So they want to do a special Mani's for their man using Cheeky's new plate #53.

I used 2 coats of CG Pink Plumeria

which is thin and kinda runny 

So take your time with this color.

White is Funky Fingers 1 coat :)

Hello Nail Surfers.

.Hows your weekend going so far?  Mine is going pretty good. :)  I am having loads of fun making all these mani's.. I have alot to still with you guys. This particular Mani I loved so much. I hated to take it off. I usually don't do the same mani 2X ,but with all my plates and certain images I will defiantly do it again and hopefully the 2ed time around it can last longer than a day or so.

Originally I had planned with black film strip stamp,

and stamping Marilyn in a beige glitter.

I didn't take a picture with her on here but it was hard to really see her,

so I took all this off and went back to the drawing board.

And now she is visible. I reversed the colors and it worked great.

Have you heard? Cheeky has shown all their new plates for the Summer Set Collection! All of them..

Which means I can now post 2 mani's I did ahead of time for 2 plates. :) I'll post them here soon.

As you can see the sample set does not fit my nails great,

plus the image has a curve for french tip but that forces me to have my 

art face me and I prefer it going outwards. So I lost a few cm of the image.

BUT... Cheeky is making the images bigger :) so I can't wait to use these all again.

Fox Racing Nails

Hello Nail Surfers.   I did this Mani earlier this week. And I loved how it turned out. Fox is a name brand for racing equipment. Dirt bikes,4 wheelers,trick bikes etc..They sell protective gear and fashion gear.

I wore my Fox top with this Mani. Its black with the fox 1/2 white 1/2 pink. It totally matched my nails :)

These came from Five Below.

This white only needs 1 coat. Yep 1 coat,no streaking either.

And they work GREAT for stamping.

Again Five below.

Insta-Dri works Great also for stamping.

Top of double bottle.

They do have small brushes.

But for stamping these are GREAT

Sally's Trip

I still managed to buy doubles.Even with them all in 1 basket..

The I.O.U. they owed me. FREE.

Sally's (same trip as above. Do you spot the doubles? there's 2)

I have found that most of China Glaze stamps very well. And as a base they dry real fast.

I have been using mainly CG lately. Due to these reasons.

Now I do have 900 bottles of all brands mixed that I need to start using more.

I have most in a Helmer cabinet. I thought it was a great idea at the time.

If I am not seeing a color handy I dread looking through the dark drawer. (helmer)
