The Glowing Power is just AMAZING.

This is 2 coats plus a Top Coat.

Macro Shot Above.
I am still in Ahh with these amazing colors.
Glow with the Flow has a Silver Holo/Shimmer
It's Electric has a Gold Holo/Shimmer
Lite Brite has a Blue and Silver Holo/Shimmer.
All 3 of these are 2 coats. No Top Coat was added.
And if you look closely you will even see more colors in these polishes.

So of course I always want to test the limits with these polishes.
And every Challenge I dish out  it always Wins.

I even Challenged this polish to paint over Metal Studs.

I started off with a White base coat  and then did a gradient
with It's Electric and Glow with the Flow.

I used XXL I for art.

Here is "It's Electric".
I painted 2 coats over a White base plus a Top Coat.
I choose to use a White base so my Orange would be brighter.

These suckers have such a bright glow that it illuminates.
I used Bundle Monster BMH 07

I used 2 coats of "Lite Brite"
This Purple is Oh So Amazing!
I used XXLF plate for art.

Here's the Collection working together.
As you can see, each color Glows differently than the others.
I started with a thin White base. Then I added each color.
I tried to stay on an angle during application.
I did 2 coats of each color than applied a Top Coat.
I used Cheeky XLC plate for art.

I love how I can use this collection for 3 seasons.
Spring, Summer and Fall.
It's Electric is a perfect example of how versatile they can be.
Imagine...
2-3 coats of Lite Brite  with a Halloween theme.
or
I wonder how amazing this would be in a Splatter Mani..
hmmm I may just have to do a swatch stick of that tonight now..

Above the Curve Nail Polish  is an Outstanding Indie Maker.
And I absolutely Love that they Donate a portion of each bottle sale to a Charity.
Now that is One Amazing Company!

Do you have any Glow in the dark polishes?
Do they work like these?
I have a few, but none shine like these do.

Thank you for surfing my wave. I know this one was a big one.
But I like sharing with you, all the things I like to do to Challenge these  polishes.
I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach.

This is the Newest Collection out By Above the Curve
Summer Destinations 2014

This Collection can be purchased here- AboveTheCurve Store Link

These 4 polishes dry with a Matte Finish.
You can always add a Glossy Top Coat to make them shiny.

This is an outdoor shot.
I used 3 thin coats of Myrtle Beach and Coney Island .
3? you ask.. Well I don't having VNL (Visible Nail Line)
and when I held the polish bottle in my hand  I saw a line.
2 coats has great coverage.

Did I mention how this polish dries in Record Time?
It really does. It dries faster than any polish I have,
including Seche Vite.

This is with a Top Coat and indoors.

I used 3 coats of Boardwalk (Blue)
and 4 coats of Venice Beach.
This Polish goes on Glossy but Dries Matte.
I used MJ XXIV  by MyOnline Shop for art.

I wanted to have fun and mix some colors up.
I use Venice Beach,Coney Island and Boardwalk.
I used Wet`N`Wild Matte Polish to Matte my Black Nails.
M42 is what I used for art.
I just love how these polishes compliment one another.

I wanted to try water marbling with these.
It wasn't a huge success at first.
These polishes dry super fast already and when I tried to create a design in the water
I was only making a mess. So I hurried up and dipped one finger and
and got as much as I could on it.
I used Pueen Encore Set SE O4 B

As a Stamper I just had to try.
They all do stamp, but I would recommend over light color bases only.

I wanted to show that even if your not a stamper these
polishes work great as Art of their own. I left the center blank so you can
visualize what you would for art. Would you add a straight Black line?
Or add some Rhinestones for some Bling-Bling action?
Dots would also look great going down the center of this nail as well.
The possibles are endless. Be creative and go wild.

Here I painted the nail  2 coats of White and add a Matte finish.
I then used a straw to make the splatter design.

I have had so much fun with this collection.

They apply so easily and dry in record time.
Removal was not bad either.

I would defiantly recommend this collection .

Party in a Bottle Collection Review and Mani's

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

I have been given the honor to play and review the  "Party in a Bottle Collection"
by 10.1 Polish .
These Polishes are 5 free and apply smoothly and evenly.
I've have lots of pictures and some Mani's as well to share.
So lets get on this wave......

SURFS UP

These Polishes are "Toppers" but can be used without a base too.
I always use a peel off base when ever I am using Glitter/Chunky Polishes.
Removal can be a pain without one.
There is a trick tho to speed up the removal time.
Soak either a cotton ball, small piece of paper towel, or which ever product you
normally use to remove your polish..
What I do is load my cuticle and skin area with tons of oil/lotion etc.
Then apply your soak with acetone cotton ball on top of your nail.
Then wrap your finger tip with aluminium/ foil.
You can find foil sheets at Dollar Tree and just cut them into sections.
Leave this on your nail of about 5 minutes.
Once time is up, check it out.
Try to wipe your nail clean, if it doesn't all come off then repeat the steps above.
On the Left side I applied 1 coat plus Top Coat over a plain nail.
On the Right side I applied 1 coat plus a Top Coat over a Black Base.

Top Left - 2 coats plus TC over Navy Blue.
Top Right - 2 coats plus TC over a Baby Blue.
Bottom Left - 2 coats plus TC over a Bright Purple.
Bottom Right - 2 coats plus TC over a light Beige .
** I really wanted to see how interchangeable  these toppers are.**

I used 2 thin coats plus a TC over a Black and White base.
W216

"Paint Ball Anyone" Was my least favorite out of the 4.
I wanted the Challenge and decided to use this one.
It's truly amazing how different color bases can change your
opinion on a Polish.
I like this Topper now :)
I used Dashica Beauty Shop "Infinity Nails" plate.
IN50

Have you ever had a Polish that you didn't like at first but then gave it a
try and ended up liking?

Thank You for Surfing my wave.
I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach.

10.1 Polish "Icing Collection" Review

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

I have been given the opportunity to do a review on
10.1 Polish "Icing Collection"
First I am going to share a statement form the store in regards to this collection.

It has been brought to my attention that some explanation in the difference between Icing and mixing regular polish into top coat might be needed. First off, Icing is of course 5 free for those of you that are wanting those polishes. Secondly, it is made in a suspension base, not a top coat. This ensures even distribution of color throughout the entire bottle. Finally, because it is made in a suspension base, there is no settling, the color remains mixed.

Above statement is straight from the 10.1 Polish Facebook Page.

There's 8 colors total in this collection.
~Cherry Blast
~Cantaloupe Catastrophe
~Lemon Cupcake
~Kiwi Delight
~Blueberry Blues
~Plum-Tastic
~Coconut Bliss
~Black Licorice
These are sheer and can be used in many different ways.
~You can use it as a base.
~You can put this ontop of your current polished nails and it'll change the tone of your Mani.
~You can stamp in White over a dark base and come back and color over it with out ruining your base.
(make sure you use a tc before you polish over your image)
~You can add a bunch of colors to one nail  as a base.

I have tried many of these ways already.
So are you ready to see a bunch of pictures?

This is Two thin  Coat of "Coconut Bliss "over Natural Nail.

*****WARNING*****
*****FEET*****
Here I stamped in White and went over the image using "Cherry Blast"
Art is XXLH plate.

This is all of the colors from the collection, minus Black Licorice.

This is One Coat of "Black Licorice" over "Coach Ella"by Fresh Paint

I still want to play around with these over different color bases
and see what new color I get.
These Indie Polishes have Multiple uses.
Just like cake" Icing" Possibilities can be endless.

Sorry to flood you all with so many pictures.
I have Many more Mani's to share.

I am really impressed with this Collection.

A New Floral Bouquet Mani

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach.

I have been away from my blog for far to long.
I have had lots of new things going on.
Most are Great things but there has been a fair share of bad as well.
In between all of that I have been keeping up with my nails and art.
I have Lots and Lots to share..
I don't even know where to begin.
I am on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest the most.
But my goal is to keep you guys here updated too :)
I understand that not everyone is part of those social networks and they
still would like to see and hear about all the Nail World.
So my goal is to post more frequently.

10.1 Polish is an affordable Indie Polish for any budget.
This is the second collection.
These are sheer polishes that can have many purposes.
You can use these plain on your nails.
(which I did a french using the Coconut Bliss)
I'll be posting that soon.
You can slightly  change your current base color, you can add as many
or less colors per nail, like I did for this Mani.
And you can even color over images with these as well.
It's "Icing", so anything can go.
These are Five Free as well..

I applied 1 thin coat of "Coconut Bliss" as a base.
Then I applied Cherry Blast, Cantaloupe Catastrophe,Lemon Cupcake,
Kiwi Delight, Blueberry Blues and Plum Tastic. all on each nail.
Once it dried I went back and added a 2nd coat anywhere that looked
to sheer. After they all dried I applied a topcoat to help blend the colors together.
I topped this all off with Bunny Nails Buna-B plate.
I used Cosmetic Arts Black polish for stamping and added a final coat of topcoat.

Check out My Buddy Laurie'sBlog for Monkey See Monkey Do.

Have you ever tried any Indie Polishes before?
Or have you tried using a new technique for bases?
I have been playing around with all of these colors and I am really liking all
possibilities  they have.

Thank You for surfing my wave.
I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach.

Graffiti Fun

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

Tonight I'll be sharing my Graffiti Mani.

I've been down with Sinus issues lately.
I will be doing a Video review on the products that I used for this Mani.
But first I need to get my voice back so you can hear me :)

SURFS UP

I originally had these with a gloss, but there was far to much glare.

I used 2 coats of  Funky Fingers Black
and only 1 thin coat of Funky Fingers White
on my middle and ring finger.

I used  "Nail Sticker" aka Water Decals from  Born Pretty Store .
I also added some textured metal studs also from Born Pretty Store

This particular product  can be a bit confusing.
The package says Nail Sticker
and the directions say nothing about water or this being a decal.

I took a rough measurement of my two fingers and cut the necessary amount.
I dropped 1 at a time in the water. (I just used a shallow glass bowl)
after about 5-10 seconds I used tweezers and grabbed it out.
The Image will slid right of the paper with ease.
(if yours does not, then put it back into the water for a little bit longer)
This Decal is truly amazing. That white background you see is part of the decal.
I place the decal over over my 1 thin coat of white polish (as a Base) .
Now at this point I was a little worried..
The image I cut  was a tad longer and wider than my nail.
I really was not sure how to approach this without messing up my Mani or nails.
There was no way I was going in with scissors to trim things up.
So I  used  my clean up brush and Acetone to tackle this one.
And WOW! I was amazed. It cleaned up perfectly.
I even took this review to the next level.
I  even applied Matte Polish right over the decal.
And again I was amazed by the results.
No smudging/smearing or dragging of image.
This Water Decal  took a beating and abuse and nothing could break it.
I Highly recommend these.
