Colores De Carol Indie Polish Review/ Swatches/ Mai's

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

Today I have 6 New Amazing Polishes by a
Company that I tried for my Very First Time.

It's called Colores De Carol

This is an Indie Polish  Maker in the USA that ships World Wide.
These are 15ml size bottles and  are 5 Free and Cruelty Free.

To me what I love is that not only is she an Indie Polish Maker, but also
a swatcher herself. She reviews many other store brands. So she knows
what we all go through on finding that perfect polish. She also keeps up
with what's trending too. Each Collection is different from the next.

When my package arrived I was so excited to get started.
It came in a Priority Box.
Shipping was Very Fast.
Each Bottle was wrapped in heavy bubble wrap.
(so no accidents here :) )

Are you ready to see what I got?
I went overboard with the pictures..

I usually take a crazy/fun intro picture.

I was very lucky and had a Beautiful sunny day for this picture.

Each swatch stick is just 2 coats.
 These polishes applied so smoothly.
It was literally gliding on.
Even the Chunky Bits and Pieces went on perfectly.
It's like they knew were to go and how much should go there.

" Cuddles"
Just 2 coats

I used 2 coats plus a TC.
For Art I used FUN13 by FabUr Nails

It's amazing how certain colors pop more when you hold
a different color polish bottle.

I paired "Cuddles" with "Bling" This is also just 2 coats.

"50K" was made in celebration of
Colores De Carol 50K Followers on IG

I used 2 Coats and no TC here.
I could of gotten away with just 1 coat on the swatch stick.

Of course these 2 colors totally caught my eye and I so wanted to pair them up in a Mani.
I used Gilden Shamrock along with 50K. This gradient does have a TC.

"Gilden Shamrock"

2 coats no TC

For the Gradient I started with 1 coat of Gilden Shamrock.

I used 2 coats of 50K and Gilden Shamrock.
For art I used Bundle Monster's New XL plates. BMXL25

Here the Gilden Shamrock pops.

I probably could of gone 3 coats of Gilden Shamrock ad not have my nail line show.

"Velvet Kisses"

I used 2 coats no TC

I have not done a full Mani yet with color.

"Pinwheel"

I used just 2 coats here. No TC.

I left 2 fingers unstamp to help so the base better.
This is 2 coats plus a TC. Can you see the color shifting?
I used Myonline Shop's MJXLII
I see 3 different shades here.
How many do you see?

Yes.. This is the same Mani/Nail.
"Pinwheel"
First picture is indoors and the second was outside in the full Sun.
WoW! Look at all those pretty colors.
I really didn't know I would have such a huge difference in the direct Sun.

"Bling"

On the left is 1 coat over a single layered black base.
On the right is 2 coats over a clear swatch stick.

I used 2 coats of Bling over a clear base and added simple Black
Polish for some accent. For art I usedMyOnline Shop's
MJXL & MJXLIV

Lots of Pictures Huh..

Here's a quick and Maro recap.

Each bottle was well mixed. No separating here.
And each bottle also have mixing balls.
I will admit that I fell in love with this Company.
The formula is just Outstanding!
She ships fast and the polish dries fast too.
There was no streaking or fussing with any of these polishes.
Check out her store.
You won't Regret it.

She is all over the Social Media.

I tested every image.
I used some Diy Stamping (Black)
and some Sally Hansen Insta Dry Polishes as well.
Not every image is stamp straight.

I didn't have any issues with stamping or transferring.
These are my stamping sheets.
So you can see if an image didn't please me, I tested
it a 2nd or 3rd time if needed.
A full plate swatch really leaves lots of polish build up,
which can lead to stamping errors.

Which is your Favorite Plate / Plates ?

I used XLV
My stamper has a tiny tear and is reflecting in my stamping now.
It's my squishy. I had that little guy for over 5 years now.
I guess it was time to let him go now.
I used acrylic paints, Alcohol inks and some double/triple stamping.

So I found another stamper, but it's really firm
and that's difficult to use with long curvy nails.
I press not roll.
I used MJ  XVII

Thank you for surfing my wave.
I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach.
And I hope you return soon.

But Bundle Monster has The Best Customer Service  out there!!

Stamped Perfectly!!
Wow! Look at the Difference.

Here you can clearly see how much bigger these are verses the originals.

Blow are sample on painted swatch sticks.

Here is my Video of the plates in action.
You'll see al things I do just to get a plate to work right.
Unfortunately the plate is a dud :(
But Hey, it happens. They make millions at a time and it's not them,
it's the machine's mishap. But Bundle Monster is amazing and has
amazing Customer Service.

I only have 3 out of 30 plates.
And these plates can be bought in sets or individually.

They has just Release a New Case for these XL Series.
They look very stylish too.
I can't wait to get some and fill them up.

I am extremely pleased with this Series.
I will finally be able to use all the images.

Is this a set that you would want?
Why or Why not?
I am always curious  to what others think about  new plates/images.

DIY Sheers/ Tints/Jellies

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

Today's Mani is based off of my DIY Tints.
This is not my original idea.
I had seen this in many different places,
but Nails by Cassis is the first that I know of.
Her YouTube on how to is Here

SURFS UP

I made Sunset Orange
You can make yours as dark or light as you choose.
And you can mix colors to create new colors too :)

I used MyOnline Shop's MJXXXVI for art.

I've been using these now for awhile.
And it's a fun, easy way to add the extra oomph to your Mani's.

I use my Alcohol Inks for a lot of different things.
For me it was well worth the purchase and has saved
me a Ton of money in the end.

Have you ever made your own polishes  for art?
You can use this as a base coat too.
I have many of times.
And these tints/sheers/jellies have many uses.
So to me, it's worth it.

On a Personal note..
Does anyone out there still read Blogs?
I know I have not been as active as I wanted to.
But with Facebook Groups,Instagram,YouTube,Pinterest and many other
social media's available now I was just curious.
I am on all those listed above and it can be challenging to be
everywhere.
Especially with everything having mobile apps now a days too.

Thank You for surfing my wave.
I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach.
And I hope you return for more visits :)

DIY Stamping Polish

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

With so much to share still, I'm torn on where to even begin.

Lets start this off with some DIY Stamping Polishes.

SURFS UP

Yes these will Show over a Black/Dark base.

Here I Mixed my Red and Yellow on the image to create
the orange color.

Alcohol Inks ad Tattoo Inks!

Yep..
It's that Simple.
You can Alcohol Inks at your local craft store.
I get most of mine at Joann Fabrics

The Tattoo Ink was gifted to me. But it can be found at
Tmart.com

I use these inks for a variety of mixed media's.
But will get to those later :).
By Creating my own I can now have custom colors at my finger tips.

After I had made the Video above I tried the Tattoo Inks
and they work Perfectly.

Now to finish any test I do, is Clean-up

I am so Happy that  71% Rubbing Alcohol will remove the extra.
I did recently test this on 91% and it seemed to remove the
extra a tad faster.
Now why and or how is this possible?
Well, honestly I am not 100% sure why really.
I think maybe because the Funky Fingers I start with for stamping polish
is 3Free. But I cant say that for sure.

.
It's much faster.
Another Good thing about this hack is
I can scrub as rough as I want and I will not ruin my base or remove the
image off my nail.
And Yes I can use tape, but I can only get so close
because some stamping polish may lift off my actual nail.
( I did a video on that 2 yrs ago)
Plus its 2015!
Time for some New Tips and Tricks

I used my DIY Green and Yellow
along with Bundle  Monsters New
Secret Garden Collection
BM702 & BM703

This Blue is a Bright Teal in person.
I used MY Online Shop MJXXXI plate for art.

I have made DIY Stamping Polish with Enamel Paints before.
But sometimes the Polish Base would react with the Enamel.
The Inks have not given me any issues or troubles.
It's been almost 1wk and the bottles are still perfect.

I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach.
And Thank You for taking the time to come visit me :)
