It's almost Hunting Season

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

I've been so focused on my shorties that my left hand has been naked
and waiting patiently for it's turn in some action.
So today I dedicated my time for my left hand.

I really wanted to try something different.
Something fun and originally.
I wanted to see if I could make my own camouflage design.
But with out stamping it and without drawing it on.
I wasn't sure how well this was going to turn out so I did not take
pictures during this application.

SURFS UP

I was really pleased in the end on how these actually turned out.
I was very hesitant on arting over this base.
I did add Mash Nails  Matte Polish over this.
I used 1 coat of Fresh Paint "Coconut" Polish
These are the Acrylic Paints that I used.
I did a Saran Wrap Technique.

So I bit the bullet and stamped it..
I used Fab Ur Nails Fun3 for the forest/woods
and Bundle Monster  BM214

Night Vision.

Have you tried different techniques lately?
I like trying to push the limits with nail polishes and paints.

Thank You for surfing my wave.
I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach.

Surfs Up!

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

Today I am sharing a New Plate by a New Company.
It's called Stamp Alholics

SURFS UP

I used ST01 along with Ch36 and GA17
I topped it all off with Mash Nails Matte Polish

I used Mundo de Unas Special Stamping polish.
I have only 4 of her many colors. This polish is Amazing.
I Extremely Highly Recommend this polish.
A little goes a long way.
SM  bottle is $1.50 and a LG bottle is $3.00
So Worth it.. And Yes it does stamp over dark bases.
Even a  Black base.

Here is a pic with just using all ST01 Plate.

This Plate is the Bigger round plates.
The size of Cheeky's Summer Set.

And of course I must do my swatching..

She is based in Europe but does Ship Worldwide
with a tracking number.
She has a Facebook acct
and also a link  for additional shipping questions.

What are your thoughts about the New Plate and New Company?
Would you wear images like these?
I of course totally love those surf boards.

Thank you for surfing my wave.
I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach

Fun with Caviar

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome To My Beach

As some of you may already know I like to try new
things with nail products. I am a rule breaker- Yes..
But if you don't try it you will never know.
So I started of with this gradient Mani.
Here I'll so you..

SURFS UP...

I used CG Elephant Walk and W`NW Black for the Gradient.
Caviar beads are from Mash Nails
I had this Caviar Nail and what better to match it than Spiders!
The beads now look like spider eggs.
Kinda gross but still pretty cool
I topped this off with some Mash Nails Matte Polish.

Now this is when my mind started to think outside the box..
Can I stamp over Caviar Beads?
How would it look?
I've never seen this done before.umm
I better try it anyways..
I was so excited to see that it worked.
This Mani just changed it's whole look with One simple little stamp.

Cheeky Jumbo 6 for the Spider Web.
The difference just between Glossy VS Matte
and than Plain Caviar VS Stamped Caviar

I have so many different creations I want to make trying this technique.

I also experimented making my own texture polish.
That'll be my next post. :)

Have you ever thought or tried to use nail products in different ways than
intended on the package?
Just writing this up gave me more ideas to play around with and try.
Like.. String.. Who says I can't glue that sucker down on my nail?
Or use it to stripe my polish.
Yeah.. I got you thinking now huh..
With nail art you have to have Fun with it.

Thank you for surfing my wave.
I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach.

Fun and Simple

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

Have you ever used a special polish in a way it was not
originally interned for?
I am a nail art rule breaker.
I love finding new uses for nail products.

SURFS UP....

IP Mash 8
I have been really enjoying these diamond shape gems.
And of course I must use my "Trusty" Black stamping polish.
I topped this Mani off with Mash's Matte Polish.
Now here's the kicker!!
I used the Matte coat right over my stamping and "No Smearing"
"No dragging or distorting of the image. This is another one of those
"Must have" products.
I used the Blue Magnetic Polish as regular polish to match my gradient.
And because I did this over a Yellow Base the 2 colors mixed together formed a
green in the gradient. So it appears I used 3 colors for this but I did not.

To purchase any of the "Trusty" Mash Black Stamping Polish,
Mash's Matte Top Coat
Mash's Diamond Gems
Mash's Blue Metallic Polish
 Visit..Mash Nails

Do you still pull out your older plates and use them?
I always keep the plates handy just like my others.

Thank you for surfing my wave.
I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach.

Cheeky goes to Italy

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

I have more Mani's to shares still.
.
I had a Facebook request to use Jumbo Plate 3 "European Romance"
I had so many thoughts and ideas I couldn't decide just one.
The polish base colors was a no brainier but I wanted to add a twist
and make it more festive.

SURFS UP.....

Here I did a gradient Mani and a tape technique for the accent finger.
Of course I used my "Trusty" Black stamping polish.
I used my lint roller trick and took out the buildings and added
a Baker/Chief instead. Then to make it all have a different feel I used Matte Finish
By no other than Mash Nails
I used Full Nail and Single images to create my Mani.
And the Close-up and personal shot.
I first did a Water Marble Mani. It just wasn't enough for me.
The colors blended nicely but the images weren't as bold as I intended for.
So I went with a gradient style instead.

Which base style do you like best?
For this particular Mani I like the Gradient style.

Thank you for surfing my wave.
I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach.

Mustaches for Maddie

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

Cheeky Beauty has previewed the next plate on their Face Book page.
"Home Sweet Home"
Plate 7
These plates are due to be ready for release in
3-4 weeks now. They will offer them in sets as well.
And if you missed it before, Cheeky had said that this year they
will also be selling on EBay as well.

Last night on the news I heard a story about a little girl who had
2 tumors growing in her head  that are the size of golf balls.Doctors had
already removed about 90% of them. Maddie is recovery now in the hospital.
She had always loved pictures of mustaches. ( she thinks there funny)
So in support for "Mustaches for Maddie"
I dedicate this Mani for her. :)

SURFS UP....

I used Mash Nails Matte Finish along with my "trusty" Mash Stamping Polish
The hat is from Bunny Nails HD-B
Cheeky's 2013 Jumbo Plate 7
Accent Finger I used W109
Mash Nails Black Velvet.

Have you done a Mani and dedicated it for someone?

I really enjoyed making this Mani and I hope Maddie
gets to see what I made for her.

Thank you for surfing my wave.
I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach.

SCOOBY - DOO! .....Where Are YOU!!!!

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

I have been having fun with my Cartoon Plate by
Chocolate Vanity. There's so many creations that can be made
with these plates. And yes I do understand the shipping costs. But it is
coming from another country, (which shipping usually does cost more)
But to me the number "One" thing to remember.. These are very "very" rare
images. You won't find Fred,Scooby, Shaggy, Care Bears,Pluto, Sponge
Bob..etc images anywhere else. So knowing all of that. The shipping to me
was well worth the rarity I'm getting.

Now this Velvet Powder from Mash Nails is really addictive like coffee.
It is so simple to apply and removal is easy. No harsh removal like glitter polishes.
They can get wet and dry to the smooth touch. I've washed a sink full of dishes
and when they dried they were soft again. No need to worry if they fall apart either.
Once it's on. It's staying til you want to remove it. It doesn't have to be used
either to cover your entire nail. As you seen my earlier post, I used it to fill in my Bee's.
And here below, I used it as a french tip.

SURFS UP....

This is what I started with.
I used Mash 35 for the flowers.
The Crew that is responsible.
CG Gothic Lolita --Mash Nails Matte Finish,Blk Stamping polish and Scented Lime Polish
And for those Flowers I used MyOnline Shop's Special Stamping polishes
I used Mash Nails "Velvet" Green. I applied this over the Scented Lime polish.
Does it still smell scented? Yes it's still scented even with Velvet over them.
Close up.

Are you going to try this Velvet from Mash?
I still have many ideas to use this Velvet with myself.
I'm going to get another pack just so I don't run out or they sell out
before I run out..
And how about this Cartoon Plate?
Would you seriously pass on this plate?
I had to have it. And I've got many more creations to go still.

It's so amazing that with all the nail art choices out there,
they all still play nicely together.

Thank you for surfing my wave.
I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach.

Fred Flintstones Mani

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

With this Mani I really had fun putting it all together.
There is some tip wear in my pic because I was not able to
photograph this til the next day. And yes those beads held up
over night and through a bunch of dish washing the following day.

SURFS UP....

This was one of those colors I just had to have.
It covered in 2 coats and dried quickly.
I used my "trusty" Black stamping polish ( Mash Nails) along with
Mash Nails Matte Finish Polish.
I used Cheeky's 2013 Jumbo Plate 4
Chocolate Vanity Plate 56
A Full review will be coming soon on these plates.
You can check out Chocolate Vanity on Facebook
or their Blog page http://chocolatevanity.blogspot.com/ (but hasn't been updated in awhile now)

I really-really Love all these images. And yes the shipping is a little steep but
for these rare images 1 time paying high shipping is worth it.
Like I said a "full review on these plates is still to come.
I have only putz with a few images  so far.
I also used Mash Nails White Gems for Wilma's Pearls.

So what do you think about Plate 12-56?
Are these images you would use?
Which is your favorite image?

Thank you for surfing my wave.
I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach.

Rock Star

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

Today I was playing around making a gradient Mani.
I had to many ideas for this base when my top coat dried.
And of course One idea stands out further more than the others.
There's a good and bad with this. The good is it's standing out, but the bad is
I only had part of figured out. After testing many images later I finally liked
the results. Now it was time to see well it'll work on an actual nail.

SURFS UP....

This is one of those Mani's that just Rocked a Matte Finish
I also used Mash Nails Matte Finish & Mash Nails Black Stamping Polish.
It looked so beautiful with a Gloss finish.
I used MJ 5,Mash 16,Mash 33
I stamped with MyOnline Shops Grey & Yellow
and Mash Nails Black Stamping Polish.

For MJ 5 and Special Yellow & Grey Polish
And for Mash 16,Mash 33 and Black Stamping Polish

Thank You for surfing my wave.
I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach.
