Hot Pink-Bright Orange and Fun YellowLayering Mani

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

Today is another fun day with Marianne Nails.

SURFS UP

I started off with a simple One coat of Yellow Polish as my base.
Then I used Hot Pink,Orange and Yellow Flame Acrylic Paint.
I added random spots on a sponge and then just pressed/rolled it onto
my nails. Here took about 3 coats on each finger.
Thankfully Acrylic Paint dries fast.
I have some layering and double stamping going on here.

For art I used Marianne Nails n129

These plates by Marianne Nails stamp Perfectly!

Base- 1 coat Nail Polish then Acrylic paint base.

DIY Stamping Polish

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

With so much to share still, I'm torn on where to even begin.

Lets start this off with some DIY Stamping Polishes.

SURFS UP

Yes these will Show over a Black/Dark base.

Here I Mixed my Red and Yellow on the image to create
the orange color.

Alcohol Inks ad Tattoo Inks!

Yep..
It's that Simple.
You can Alcohol Inks at your local craft store.
I get most of mine at Joann Fabrics

The Tattoo Ink was gifted to me. But it can be found at
Tmart.com

I use these inks for a variety of mixed media's.
But will get to those later :).
By Creating my own I can now have custom colors at my finger tips.

After I had made the Video above I tried the Tattoo Inks
and they work Perfectly.

Now to finish any test I do, is Clean-up

I am so Happy that  71% Rubbing Alcohol will remove the extra.
I did recently test this on 91% and it seemed to remove the
extra a tad faster.
Now why and or how is this possible?
Well, honestly I am not 100% sure why really.
I think maybe because the Funky Fingers I start with for stamping polish
is 3Free. But I cant say that for sure.

.
It's much faster.
Another Good thing about this hack is
I can scrub as rough as I want and I will not ruin my base or remove the
image off my nail.
And Yes I can use tape, but I can only get so close
because some stamping polish may lift off my actual nail.
( I did a video on that 2 yrs ago)
Plus its 2015!
Time for some New Tips and Tricks

I used my DIY Green and Yellow
along with Bundle  Monsters New
Secret Garden Collection
BM702 & BM703

This Blue is a Bright Teal in person.
I used MY Online Shop MJXXXI plate for art.

I have made DIY Stamping Polish with Enamel Paints before.
But sometimes the Polish Base would react with the Enamel.
The Inks have not given me any issues or troubles.
It's been almost 1wk and the bottles are still perfect.

I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach.
And Thank You for taking the time to come visit me :)

DIY your own Texture Polish

Hello Nail Surfers

Welcome to My Beach

As promised this post is about how you can make your own texture polish.

It all started with this particular nail image from My Online Shop
MJ XIV (MJ14)
I kept seeing others post pics with China Glaze texture or Sally Hansen Sugar Coated Polishes.
Now to be honest I am not willing to pay $6-$8 a bottle for something that is just trending. Like crackles came and went. Now these styles do have it's time and place but at that price I'd
have to absolutely love it or get it on clearance with a coupon before I own any.

Now like most things in life there's fads. Some come and go and others stay away.
But in Nail World art is different.
These products really have no rules.
On your rhinestone wheel does it say only apply 1 and don't mix and match?
Nope. So we already act outside the recommended directions.

 SURFS UP.....

So Cheesy!
The first picture is Velvet Dust. aka Flocking Powder

Oh and if you didn't know already "Yes" you can even stamp over Flocking Powder.
On the second picture I applied two coat of clear coat over the Flocking Powder.
Because the nail is so fluffy it sucks up the clear coat.
So you made need to add more depending on your liking.
I already had the Velvet Dust and who doesn't have a clear coat handy..
I used cheap clear coat on this Mani.

If you Google Images  Orange Texture Polish you will see photo's of
swatches that look the same as here..
I will post other's photo's unless they permit me to.

This is the Velvet Dust I have from Mash Nails

You can purchase this plate at--My Online Shop
 MJ XIV
MJ 14 In real Life.
Oh and of course I stamped in my  "Trusty" Black Polish

Are you a big fan of the texture polishes?
Do you have any Flocking powder or Velvet Dust just laying around?
You can find flocking powder at your local craft store.
I have a kit and it was on clearance for 2-3 dollars :)
But you didn't hear that from me..heheehe

Thank you for surfing My wave.
I hope you enjoyed your visit at My Beach..

Stay Tuned in.. I have Big News to Share Soon! :)
